Candidate for County Elections

Our candidate for the upcoming County elections in Fernhurst is Matt Bonfante Horrox.

Local Family Man: Matt has lived in this part of the world all his life - settling with his wife in Camelsdale two years ago. He and his wife have a baby daughter.

Community Spirit: Matt is a Parish Councillor on Lynchmere Parish Council, is a member of the Fernhurst Police Neighbourhood Panel and is Vice Chairman of Chichester Constituency Liberal Democrats. He's keen to foster better community spirit in our villages and across the Division.

Focused and Ready to Make a Difference: He is a career management consultant, working to improve the efficiency of the public sector.

Priorities

If elected, his priorities on the County Council will be to:

• Fight to improve social services for children and other vulnerable groups in West Sussex

• Improve road maintenance

• Fight for appropriate traffic calming in this rural area

• Significantly improve the County's environmental initiatives

• Make County Hall more efficient to keep taxes down

• Keep you informed of progress so that you have confidence your elected representative is working for you.
