Linden Homes are pressing on with their plans for Graylingwell, although a planning application has not yet been submitted.

Their current plans suggest that all the traffic from Richmond Park, Bostock Road, Graylingwell Drive and Baxendale Road will have to use Barnfield Drive and Bradshaw Road.

We have grave concerns about the lack of a masterplan for the road network in the area.

Liberal Democrat Councillors, Andrew Smith, Susan Fairley and Barry Fletcher, representing the County, District and City Councils respectively, are on the District Council's Chichester NE Panel and are keen to hear your thoughts on this and other aspects of the proposed development.

There has been a long standing plan to have an eastern access to the University. Bostock Road is the eastern end of this access as far as County Highways is concerned. The narrowness of this road, coupled with on street parking, makes Bostock Road wholly unsuitable for this purpose.
